For me, creating shoes goes beyond the practical aspects. It is a passion for which I have a deep love. Shoes represent a bridge between the individual and the world.
In the role of CEO, my ability to listen and find solutions by involving others is complemented by my decisive nature.
The desire to innovate requires resourcefulness, driven by optimism and enthusiasm, which constantly push me to explore new frontiers in the world of specialty and performance product manufacturing.
I love my company and as long as I see it grow, renew, and improve I don’t feel the need to retire. My history has been about boots since 1911 foundation by my maternal grandfather.
Today it is run by my son Marco Foglio,fourth generation, to whom I have passed on the passion for this work that he carries out with enthusiasm, constant renewal and productive enhancement.
Today MGM S.p.A with subsidiaries Rekord and PlaySport employs 800 people.
Thanks to my deep knowledge of skating, from the discipline to skates as tools, designing beautiful and functional models, I also take care of everything related to sales in both the Italian and foreign markets. What I love most is having turned my passion into a job, staying close to a sport I adore and helping others discover its magic.
I have been working within MGM for 10 years now, serving since the beginning as Marketing Director and more recently also as Sales Manager for the Italian market.
I devote body and soul to this company and have followed its positive changes over the last while with great pride.

I work as Sales Manager, I mainly deal with everything related to sales for foreign markets, regarding the Trezeta and Kayland brands.
I have chosen to work in MGM, to be able to put my more than 20 years of experience in this sector to good use, trying to make the most of the group’s two brands, both in terms of product “brand awareness,” but also in terms of turnover and sale in.
The most interesting part of my job is the one related to, sales and contact with people, dealing with foreign countries this brings me, to travel and to know various realities in various aspects, economic, social and cultural.
My role at MGM is Chief Designer, I am responsible for the design of new collections and products for Kayland, Trezeta, Fila, Hypno and Brixia.
I am in charge of creating innovative products with a strong aesthetic impact to meet customer needs, consistent with the image of the brands.
My designs arise from the synthesis of several factors: aesthetics, function, market trends, technical design skills and economic parameters, to create attractive products that speak a current sign language, with solutions that improve the quality of the user experience.
My role as Operations Manager is to plan and coordinate daily business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Through my team, we manage resources, control quality, and optimize processes. I manage budgets, vendor relations, operational troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety. I produce reports and performance analysis. I try to convey calmness and rationality to colleagues, with a stable dose of problem solving. Every day is different, challenging and never boring.
As administrative manager, with my team I manage accounting, oversee billing and ensure tax compliance. I monitor cash flow and handle financial reporting. I love my job because it allows me to use my analytical skills to ensure the financial stability of the company.
Within MGM I am in charge of following the e-commerce part, so sales in all digital channels. From corporate websites to the presence in marketplaces I am always looking for new opportunities and new channels in which to place our products, taking care of all aspects starting from the creation of the catalog to the fulfillment of the order. I enjoy the dynamic nature of this job and being in close contact with new technologies and software.
in MGM I hold the role of PM, coordinating and managing the collection development process, in collaboration with Style & Design Department, the Sales Department and external productions.
What I like about my job is that it gives me the opportunity to see a project come to life and develop, from the Designer’s first sketch to the complete shoe inside the box.
It is also a very varied and dynamic job that makes the days always different and eventful.
At MGM I hold the position of IT Manager.
In addition to ensuring the proper functioning of the Information Systems in all their aspects, my task is to analyze, plan and implement the most efficient IT solutions to support the Company’s digital needs.
I am also responsible for managing the security of information systems by constantly checking and updating the company’s cyber-security policies.
I joined MGM, putting the expertise gained over the years at the disposal of the Company, to accompany it on a path of digital evolution geared toward constant process improvement through the effective use of technology.
