Brixia
Brixia, founded in 1911 in Brescia, began by producing military the army during the two world wars and then specialized in mountain footwear. This transition marked the beginning of its involvement in the great feats of mountaineering, with legendary figures such as Giovanni Rusconi, Riccardo Cassin, and Cesare Maestri using its footwear.
The year 1982 marked a turning point, with Brixia acquiring Munari’s trademarks and patents and, in 1989, San Marco International. Thus Brixia strengthened its leading role in mountain and ski footwear, expanding globally.
Today, led by Marco Foglio, a descendant of the founder, Brixia is launching new lines that combine modern materials and innovative designs while maintaining traditional manufacturing techniques.
